Tier 2 – Intra Company Visa
For companies seeking to take on new talent.
If you already have the necessary Home Office sponsorship licence, you will need to add the general category to your current licence to process a visa under this particular category.
The resident labour market test must be undertaken before a visa application can be issued. Workers need to fit under the Tier 2 visa of which we can assist to satisfy the Home Office requirements.
We can provide advice and guidance on the resident labour market test to ensure it is carried out with full transparency, setting out the key milestones that must be reached in the process. In addition to completing any relevant forms, a formal written submission will be drafted alongside your employer’s application as evidence the labour market test has been conducted properly.
Furthermore, Adams Law will undertake the task of ensuring compliance of the applicants’ proposed call with UK employment regulation and that it does not overlap into any of the other jobs roles to which the Home Office may object. This will require review of a lengthy set of current regulations, which we will do at the start and prior to submission so the application is current.
In our experience with the Home Office and other similar matters, the above process could take in the region of two to three calendar months inclusive of the resident labour market test. This is a general guide in terms of time, which is largely dependent on the speed at which the Home Office process applications. On the whole, your visa would be viewed as low risk and therefore we would not anticipate any issues to be forthcoming.
